All year. I wouldn't recommend going there. The Locals stay away.
Great food and staff I stop here all the time
Cute little place. Owners very nice. Food was great. Diner takes you back to the 50s.
Friendly service, great food! Nice atmosphere!
Great, classic diner.
Great atmosphere and food. Good selection and friendly owners and staff. Great place to take friends or family
Food was great! We had a burger, omelet and grilled cheese. House cut fries were delish. Staff was super friendly. Bathrooms are a little small. Interesting decor. But all around a nice place.
Good food at good prices.
Great food, charming atmosphere and staff is so friendly and accommodating! Great place we come every chance we get! It’s worth’s the 50 minute ride!
AMAZING!!!!! Little hole in the wall you'd never expect the ENORMOUS personality of this place! My new favorite breakfast stop. Best waitresses ever, cheapest prices without compromising quality or quantity of their very tasty viddles. LOVE IT!
A great place to stop on the way to Wildwood.
Pancakes were great. Service was great. Quaint place. Totally worth it.
Retro feel and small. Place has a lot of potential. Food is pretty good just could use more energetic staff.
Outside is not very inviting, we were told there's a wait and basically to not bother waiting. We left and found Dino's!
Absolutely amazing place prices are reasonable. A must see your yourself!!
We certainly overwhelmed the staff with the 30 or so people from our group that showed up but the staff busted butt and pulled off a great breakfast. The food was delicious and portions perfect. We will certainly stop by again if in the area.
First off it is a oldie but goodie. You get so much food at a great price. It's a Mom and Pop restaurant with much love.
Good food. 2 stars because of the local guy sitting at the counter turned around to talk to the locals at the booth. He ran his "big mouth" the whole time we ate. I really wasn't interested in his trucks, how many he owned, how many he had his... entire life?... but we heard about them any way. I doubt the people he was talking to cared either. But that didn't matter. So it seem to be a place the locals gather like it's their kitchen. Which is fine... if your a local. But I found it rude and borish.
Tuckahoe family diner it's a very nice place and the service is great and I enjoined especially the food. You should try the burges, juicy and fresh and delicious. Tuckahoe family diner is the best place to eat.
This small diner in Tuckahoe, NJ is nice; I stopped here for lunch and the owners are friendly and the food was excellent.
The food was so good! Many things to look at inside. The staff were extremely nice.
Like a step back in time. Old timey diner. Good diner food. The day we were there, the visit would have been better if there was some air moving.
Quaint atmosphere and food is very good.
It was very good.
The service was excellent the food was delicious. It takes you back in time it's decorated in 50's. The dining area is small. It's definitely worth the trip!
Took our out of town relatives for breakfast .they said let's come back again. Super food, service and waitress.
Favorite stop on our way back from the shore. Good food. Friendly staff. It's small, so if you are a big party you may have to wait and sitting together might not be an option. I love the decor inside this old little train diner car.
A great little, authentic 50's diner with an interior to match; located in downtown Tuckahoe, NJ. The owners and wait staff were personable and friendly, and the food was rib-sticking good. If you are ever in the area of Tuckahoe, NJ, stop in and say hello and grab a bite to eat. You won't regret it.
Small, quaint roadside diner... pleasant service. It's where the locals go
My breakfast (2 fried eggs, scrapple & toast) was great. His, no so. The cinnamon bun French toast was larger than expected and too sweet. The 'sweet breakfast sausage ' was an Italian sausage; not what was desired.
My husband and I were in the area running an errand. We live 2 hours away from tuckahoe. Well we decided to stop here to get something to eat and I could not be more pleased with our service because our waitress was such a genuine, sweet, and considerate person. Brooke is her name. We were there with our 9 month old son and she showered him with attention and was so patient with him (considering he is a messy eater). She called customers by their name and was always smiling. She must really hold that place together! The food was good. The atmosphere is friendly and inviting. I definitely recommend this place.
Service is good and food is excellent!!!
Good breakfast,watier a little snobby
So retro. This place called itself a 50s dinner and was so dead honest about it. The decor reminds me of a period piece. The food was pretty decent. Michele's burger was damn solid ( 1/2 pound burger pork roll and American cheese). And the prices were appealing as well. The staff was super helpful. I couldn't have been more satisfied
Wonderful food and service
Good food
Amazing authentic old diner structure, great food, owners friendly, small but nice outside eating area, reasonable prices. Like a trip back in time. Well worth a visit!
We stopped on our way out of Ocean City to have breakfast. Everyone at the table loved their breakfast. The staff were friendly and very helpful. We all agreed that we will return next year.
Love this place such a great place inside and great food...
The owner of this diner makes the best sweet potato hash I have ever tasted!! I love coming here for breakfast.
The Tuckahoe Diner is great. The servers are really nice and hard working. The food is delicious especially there sandwiches and milkshakes too. I recommend here for breakfast and lunch.
Loved this dinner! They have large omlets, the service it exceptional and the prices are very affordable.
Really great food. Go see Brooke for breakfast. Friendly staff
Always a good breakfast and a decent lunch in an old fashioned trailer Diner with 50s and 60s memorabilia!
They only have like eight tables and you can squeeze four into one but they're really meant for two. The other reviews said it was a comfy place, and that's right up my alley. But when I got there it was B I G wierd. I'll admit I was into it but my party wasn't so we did not go in. They could not accommodate my party of ten. Also, there is a big shed behind the trailer- yeah, the entire restaurant is in a trailer, and it reads, "Tuckahoe Kids Zoo". And its painted like the jungle. Gave me bad vibes, I was still digging it though. Another wierd thing, a bright yellow motorcycle for sale out front which featured a depiction of the burning Twin Towers on the back of it. A part of me really felt at home but if you are just looking to get a bite to eat and not feel like you're about to be inducted into an anti-Big Brother cult- this really isn't your place.
Had breakfast was good cool place right out of 50's
Slowest service ever. Forty minutes for a couple of burger and soup. Food decent if you have several hours
Stopped by for breakfast has an eclectic feeling with all the nostalgic stuff around the diner. Food was ok at best service was not good. Much better places in the area. Won’t be stopping back
Cheesecake was phenomenal and owner super friendly!
Very very small, only about 6-8 booths plus counter space. Its like a 50's themed, with the saddle shoes and skirts with the poodles on them, old fashioned records hanging from ceiling, I think there's an antique jukebox but not quite sure, pics of Elvis and Marilyn Monroe and James Dean hanging. Food was excellent
Loved it, fun and the only place along the drive down 49 to 50, had tuna salad salad for lunch, was very fresh, very clean too :)
